It may have been just the first day (of 2nd month) in Camp Emunah but with all the Ruach and Spirit that the campers came with, it sure didn’t feel like it.

Our days start with davening, breakfast and a shiur with our camp rabbi, Rabbi Shochet. We then went on with some thrilling Camp Emunah activities which include sports, Arts & Crafts, gym, swimming and much more…
On our first day, we got all heated up for a marathon and 4 winners were chosen from each division. This was only a small preparation to our theme breakout – GET INTO SHAPE WITH EMUNAH ’68!!!
Our job is to Get Into Shape for Moshiach so that we won’t be huffing and puffing at the end – we need to get ‘fit’ and prepare ourselves now so that we’d be ready at any moment.

Ending off the day with even more amusement, there was Night activity Breakout. We learned our Night Activity song then played a grand game of twister -but with a little twist– in paint!!
It was quite a hectic day and the campers were so excited for this forthcoming month.

Amongst the many exciting activities that were done today, some bunk started preparing for Contata (a song and dance). VIP’s went to the mall for a Moshiach Scavenger Hunt, each group of campers had to take pictures of what will happen when Moshiach comes (ex: get well card, peace sticker…).
Along with all the breakouts, its time for… TZIVOS HASHEM!!!

We had visitors!! Bais Rivkah Crown Heights Day Camp came up to spend the afternoon with us. Together, we played a grand machanayim game. For night activity, we had a mime who came to perform for us and the children were really rolling with laughter.
